2008 HBE Seminar Schedule
Join us for a one day seminar Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This eight-hour course is strongly recommended for all participants who desire a more thorough understanding of the home buying process and increases the likelihood of a successful homeownership experience. Three-hour courses are only available for pre-screened, lender-referred individuals. Please call our office at 860-296-1797 ext. 10 for three-hour class availability.
Eight-hour courses are offered monthly throughout the year. Completion of the course requires attendance to all sessions within a given month. In addition, an individual consultation prior to attending the first class is required to determine readiness.

Course Overview
Mutual Housing's homebuyer education course includes an individual assessment to develop a customized written goal plan, individual or group classes and follow up to reach desired objectives. The course consists of one eight-hour seminar that allows for direct question and answer sessions among participants and guest speakers taught at 95 Niles Street, Hartford, CT. (MHAGH)
This program will help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a homebuyer and homeowner and landlord. (Landlord training requires participants to attend an additional two and a-half hour class, which is scheduled once per month as needed).
In a step-by-step format, participants examine their housing needs, analyse their financial situations and learn strategies to improve financial management in an effort to better prepare for homeownership.
